Reihane Taravati
Founder of Reihanet Studio, the mind behind Karobar
"For us, Karobar is not just a project. It is a social responsibility we took on wholeheartedly. We hope we have taken a step, however small."

Reihane Taravati is a photographer and filmmaker. She has been taking photographs since 2007, studied industrial design, and has worked professionally since 2015 through her own studio, today Reihanet Studio. Her work has appeared in international media including Le Figaro, The Guardian, the BBC and The New York Times.
She has long spoken up for women's safety at work. In 2022 she made educational videos on women's rights and workplace harassment. Karobar carries the same idea into hiring: a free platform, in the language of a young generation, that asks employers to judge people by what they can do.
Reihane has been based in Paris since 2023 and leads Reihanet Studio and Karobar from there.
